Answer honestly — Yes or No
"Not sure" counts as "No". The score only helps if the answers are true.
📄 Your CV
1. Is your CV 1–2 pages and tailored to ONE specific role? One generic 5-page CV for every job gets ignored. One role, one tailored CV.
2. Are your phone (with WhatsApp), email and city correct on the CV? Gulf employers contact by WhatsApp first. One wrong digit loses the job.
3. Does your experience show numbers and results, not just duties? "Handled accounts" is weak. "Handled accounts for 40 clients, zero errors in 2 years" gets interviews.
🌍 Gulf-format extras
4. Does your Gulf CV include a professional photo, nationality, date of birth and visa status? Standard on Gulf CVs — employers expect these details up front.
5. Are your degrees/certificates attested or do you know the attestation steps? Gulf employers ask for attested documents (HEC → Foreign Office → embassy). Know the steps before the offer comes.
6. Do you have experience letters or references from past employers? Gulf HR verifies past jobs. A reference letter ready in advance saves weeks.
🪪 Documents ready
7. Is your passport valid for at least 6 more months? Short-validity passports delay visas. Renew early if it expires within a year.
8. Do you have your CNIC and passport-size photos ready (digital + printed)? Every application and visa form asks for them. Keep clean scans on your phone.
9. Do you know whether your target country needs a police character certificate? Many Gulf visas require one. Knowing early avoids a last-minute rush.
🎤 Interview ready
10. Can you introduce yourself in English in about 60 seconds? The first question in almost every Gulf interview is "Tell me about yourself." Practise it out loud.
11. Have you researched the salary range for your role in that city? Answering "anything is fine" loses money. Know the range before they ask.
12. Have you verified the employer is a real company (website, reviews, licence)? Fake recruiters copy real company names. Verify before you share documents or pay anything — and never pay to apply.
