User manual
- Load this folder unpacked in Chrome (steps in README.txt)
- Open any web page
- Click the extension icon
- Click Check Links on This Page
- Review the broken link count

What is inside: manifest.json, popup.html, popup.js and icons. Collects page links via scripting and checks each with fetch, with error handling.
This download is a ZIP of the extension files plus the README. Unzip it, then load it unpacked in Chrome: open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, click “Load unpacked”, and select the unzipped folder.

Why might a working link show as broken?
Some sites block automated requests, so they may appear unreachable even though they open in a browser.
Does it change the page?
No, it only reads links and reports results.
